Hat Yai, Thailand Trip

 It is my first graduate trip.This time, i follow my friends go to visit Thailand. It is a very relax and fun trip.

Hat Yai, is one of the famous city in southern Thailand and it near the boundary to Malaysia. It located around 60+ km from the Thai-Malaysia immigration. I used to visit to Hat Yai since i was in form 2 ( if not mistaken) and this is my second time to visit this nice place after graduate. Compare to the first time i visit here, it has a lot of changes in Hat Yai. This is a very fun trip since i came here with my buddies. After take almost 9 to 10 hours bus from Pudu, KL, i reach the Hat Yai city after pass the immigration check.

First thing i want to do after reach Hat Yai city is i wanna jump into the bathtub to take a nice and relax shower before start my trip to walk around in this city.

The hotel we choose to stay in Hat Yai is Golden Crown hotel.

The room is quite comfortable and affordable. 

( i forget to take the photo about my room due to rush to go out ) 

Place to go: 
Most of the visitor love to visit Wat or temple when come to Hat Yai. There are few famous temple that we visit in this city.

  I do not know about the actual name for this temple,

but then the local people will call this temple as

Ah Zan Tong

This is the second temple that we visit in Hat Yai.

The local people will call this temple as 

Pra Phon Si Na

( means the four face god)

From the picture shown as above, the temple and Wat in Hat Yai are very unique for the design of the building. The design almost same and it is very beautiful.

What you must try in Hat Yai:

If you like the sour and spicy food, you will definitely love the food in Thailand. 

Seafood Tom Yam

Chicken Feet Kelabu

Pork Leg

Chicken Rice

Big size Prawn

(M, L and XL size)

Mango Mix Salad
Som Tam
The taste like sour when it mix with the sour source.
Local people normally will mix it with the crab.

My breakfast~Tom Yam Mee Hun
The tom yam is not so spicy,
if you like the super spicy food then you can add some chilli powder yourselves.

 About the drink,
Sugar Cane juice in Thai is one of the favorite drink.
The taste is so sweet and nice.
Normally the business people will give you a big bottle like picture above,
So you can share with your friends.

Tea Ice
It is one of my favorite drink in Hat Yai.
the taste is so nice and high recommence to those love tea.

Another food you should try when come to Thai especially Hat Yai:
FRUIT

 Big size Pineapple
The pineapple here taste very sweet and nice.
You must try when come to Hat Yai.

For Shopaholic, what you must buy when you come to Hat Yai?

 Lay Brand Potato Chips
It cost around 20-30 baht (RM2-3)per pack
Compare to Malaysia,
it normally cost around RM7-8 for the big pack.

 Gelica Pocky
It same with the Rocky which has chocolate and strawberry flavor.
It has a lot of flavor for this biscuit stick such as
Almond, Chocolate, Blueberry and Lychee.

 Hair Care~Shampoo and Conditional
It is so cheaper if you buy the hair care in Thailand.
The price is cost around 70-90 baht (RM7-RM 9) for the medium size.
Compare to Malaysia,
it normally cost above RM10 per bottle.

 Thai Maggi Mee
The price cost around 20-30baht for 5 pack
For those like the spicy tom yam flavor,
you can buy this type of maggi mee.

Squid Slice
A lot of visitor will buy this as souvenir when go back to home country.
My dad and me like to eat this.

Toothpaste

The toothpaste here is so cheaper compare to Malaysia.

It cost around 40-50baht (RM4- RM5) per pack.

Compare to Malaysia,

the normal toothpaste will cost around RM8-RM10.

Sanitary Napkins (For Girls)
It cost so cheap compare to the price in Malaysia.
It normally cost only 40-50 baht (RM4-RM5) per pack if you buy in Thailand.


Besides,
the clothes, bag and slipper in Thailand are cheaper compare to Malaysia.

The Ship~The Best Steak In Town

Last Tuesday (12/4/2011), my baby bring me to go The Ship Bukit Bintang to celebrate my 23's birthday. As we know that, The Ship is a western steak house which has many years history in Malaysia. The theme for this restaurant is ship.Let's look for the picture below:

There is a lot of nice food in the menu.

 

Escargots Bourguinonne 

One of the famous appetizer in The Ship.

This is actually is snail baked with cheese.

The taste quite nice if you eat with the cheese.

I love this appetizer~

US Seafood Chowder

Try it if you are the seafood lover.

Under Chef's Recommendation: Charbroiled Sirloin Steak

 

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Actually, i want to try this.

In the end, i choose to try the Grill premium Lamb chop.

I may try this next time because i'm love to eat lamb..

There is a lot of Chicken Chop in the menu.

If you do not like beef or lamb,

you can choose Chicken Steak,

because it is quite common for any steak house.

You can try out this US Lobster in The Ship.

But then please think about your wallet before you make order.

The price of this big lobster abound rm20 per 100g

You can imagine the actual weight for big lobster.

It may cost you around rm200+ for 1 lobster depend on the sizes.

What i try out in this restaurant?

Garlic Bread

The garlic bread quite nice and 

it taste like cheesy garlic on top of bread.

Sri Lanka Crab Meat and Sweet Corn soup

This soup taste sweet and not so special.

If you wan to order soup, you better to choose others

instead of this.

 

This is my favorite~ New Zealand Grill Premium Lamb Steak

I love this very much.

The Chef use a special source to grill with lamb.

So, the taste is nice.

My baby's favorite- Charbroiled Rib Eye Steak

He say the taste for this beef steak not bad

If you are beef steak lover, 

you can try this.

For me, i prefer lamb~^^

About drinks,

there has 2 sizes of drinks~small and jumbo

so, for 2 person u can order a jumbo juice with ur friends.

It is because the jumbo really very JUMBO~

You cant finish it if you order for 1 person.

So, u can order this unless you can finish it after having ur meal..

Movida night

Let's dance~~~~

Movida is one of the hot place recently among those like to go for social life. 

It locate at Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara.
Movida is a kitchen, bar and club lounge in Sunway Giza.
Needless to say that, it is a nice place to hang out with friends on Friday or weekend night.

I went to Movida for few times with friends and the liquor here is quite cheap compare to those club at Jalan Ampang (Poppy, Zouk, Aloha....)

It is the place nice to visit for those clubbing kaki and beer-ing kaki..

The taste is not bad after mixing with coke..

Needless to say that, you have to take some photo with your buddy when come to Movida

If you like the social night life, Movida is a nice place to hang out with your buddies.

If you do not like the club night, you also can visit this place since it is a bar or pub before 11pm.

You can come to this place to enjoy your drinks and meal with your friends for gathering purpose.

Lastly, 

the song here mostly is R&B style 

the DJ may not as pro as other club,

but then is consider good enough.

There is no dance floor,

so it is better for you to come early in order to book the nice seat.

For girls,

if you really like to dance,

you can go to the stage to show out your dance performance if you brave enough.

Let's shake and shake....

Clubbing is not a bad habit.

It is one of the social activity for people to release stress and unhappiness.

We used to come across a lot of nice moment.
We used to cook together.
We used to hug to dance together.
We used to lay on each other.
We used to see each other from eye to eye.
We used to be sweet together.
All the moment, i still remember.
But,
it already past.
We cannot go back to that moment again.
I used to say i want to be the cool in order to leave you.
But then when i read your post
i only realize that you really like me very much
You say a lot of words that you never tell me before..

So sorry that i say something that i hurt you..

but,
